HOW IT WORKS
We will welcome you to our headquarters or invite you to a webinar to give you an overview of the Detroit’s Original Chicken Shack brand including expectations, available territories, and receipt of the franchise disclosure document. You will have the opportunity to meet one on one with our president and answer any questions you may have. Once approved, you will be offered a Detroit’s Original Chicken Shack franchise!
You will work directly with our real estate team to help you find your Detroit’s Original Chicken Shack location. This will include local real estate representation, help submitting a letter of intent (LOI) and lease review. With over 50 years of experience in site selection, our team has a proven detailed approach to finding the right location.
We will provide you with an approved site layout and you will work directly with our architect to complete your drawings to submit for proper approval and general contractor bidding. Once your local municipality has approved your plans, we will work hand in hand with you during the construction process. This will include multiple site reviews to ensure your Detroit’s Original Chicken Shack is completed in a timely manner and according to our standards.
You will complete a 4 week training program and get certified to operate a Detroit’s Original Chicken Shack no later than 4 weeks prior to opening. Our proven training program prepares you and your team for opening your restaurant. You will receive all the support you need to ensure that when you open your doors for business, you are fully prepared to operate your store the Detroit’s Original Chicken Shack way!
After your soft opening, we will coordinate with you to setup your grand opening. The grand opening is a kickoff and celebration of a new Detroit’s Original Chicken Shack location that has just hatched in your local area. We will celebrate with the businesses and residents in the community!
We offer extensive support for our franchisees! This includes video and in person training to help with continued Detroit’s Original Chicken Shack education along with having access to our Detroit’s Original Chicken Shack portal from any mobile device. Our franchise consultants will also work with your team throughout the year to ensure that your location is setup for success.
